Lany Sommers, Senior Business Development Manager, RIM

Lelany Sommers Senior Business Development Manager. Lany has worked for Research In Motion since June 2000.  At the beginning she started in the Customer Service Organisation in Technical and Billing Support, then moved to Sales working closely with RIM's carriers in North America. She moved to London in 2006 to develop the Swiss market and work with a UK carrier to develop their enterprise and partner business. After working with Orange Group she is now leading Business Development in select markets. Her focus will be on growing and supporting the developer community.

Oscar Gutierrez, Technical Ecosystem Support Lead, South Europe, Nokia

Oscar has a long trajectory in the mobile industry with over 8 years of experience, 6 years in R&D and nowadays leading Technical Ecosystem Support in South of Europe. He is responsible for the connection between Nokia and mobile developers, acting as main point of contact for enterprises and developers. During these years Oscar has realized several projects with new technologies, has collaborated on several forums as speaker, was a member of JCP working more than 3 years in Java standardization and today working to make business over Nokia platforms easier for enterprises and independent developers.

David Artunedo, Chief Architect at Jajah Israel, Telefónica Digital

David has developed a long career in VoIP and IMS services working in Telefónica R&D. In 2009, David participated in the due diligence process for Jajah’s acquisition and soon after he moved to Jajah Israel as Technology Liaison Manager to help in the integration of Jajah into Telefónica . Now David is the Chief Architect in Jajah Israel defining the next generation OTT Cloud Communications Platform that will help Telefónica Digital to compete in the Digital world. The first service launched using this platform is Tu Me, and he is looking for technology partners to innovate in this area.
Anthony Hicks, Head of Strategic Integrations – EMEA Innovations and Labs, PayPal

Anthony is a software developer with over fifteen years’ experience in web based application development encompassing a broad range of programming languages, technology vendors and techniques. Now at PayPal, he works with strategic partners integrating PayPal’s Platform APIs. Prof. Yesha Sivan is the head of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Program at the School of Management and Economy at the Tel-Aviv-Yaffo academic college. He is also the founder of Metaverse Labs (MVL) - a leading think tank focusing on connecting virtual and real worlds. Oded Israeli leads Product Management and Marketing for Amdocs Digital Commerce and Mobile Payments. Ronen has been a member of the Telmap leadership team since 2001, taking a key part in defining and executing the company's vision, business strategy and roadmap – up to and beyond its recent acquisition by Intel. Ofir is the founder of Mobile Monday Tel Aviv (MoMoTLV, http://www.momotlv.com), the official Israeli chapter of the global non-profit organization Mobile Monday. 

Ofir has a rich background in mobile technologies and business practices, dating back to 2003 when he was a consultant to Orange Israel. In 2005, Ofir founded GamearraY, a Jerusalem based startup company known for its award winning user generated mobile gaming platform.  In mid 2008 Ofir left GamearraY and became a consultant for Israel's leading mobile startups as well as to Oracle Israel Development Center.
